Explanation of Allstar Rankings

The Allstar Junior Golf Tour is proud to announce its all new Rankings System. As a premier junior golf tour, we have developed our own comprehensive national junior golf rankings. Yes, that’s right! NO MORE POINTS BASED RANKINGS — at least not when you play on the Allstar Junior Golf Tour.

We feel that we can more fairly determine our great players based on their skill levels, and not on the number of times they play.

This is how the new Allstar Junior Golf Tour Ranking System Works.

We look at the following criteria to provide you with your ranking:

  1. Number of Wins
  2. Number of Top 5 Finishes
  3. Number of Tournament Played
  4. Scoring Average
  5. Strength of Field
  6. Course Difficulty
  7. Playing Conditions

The Allstar Scoreboard will provide you with the following information:

  1. Place
  2. Name, City, State
  3. Number of Wins
  4. Number of Top 5 Finishes
  5. Number of Events Played

Example:

2007-2008 Scoreboard Rankings

The Allstar Junior Golf Tour Scoreboard Rankings will be the determining factor for the following:

  2. Selection of the Exempt Players for the 2008 Regional Tournaments
  3. Selection of the Exempt Players for the 2008 National Championship
