Official Code of Conduct for Allstar Junior Golf Tour
2005–2006 Tournament Season
The Allstar Junior Golf Tour wants above all to provide an enjoyable
atmosphere for everyone. The Code of Conduct has been established
to help juniors mature by accepting the consequences of their actions.
The Allstar Junior Golf Tour has set the following guidelines for
its members to abide by.
Alcohol, Tobacco, and Drugs
The Allstar Junior Golf Tour will not tolerate the use of alcohol,
tobacco, and/or illegal drugs. The penalty for such use will be
disqualification and subsequent violations will result in suspension
from the Allstar Junior Golf Tour.
Attire
All Allstar Junior Golf Tour members must wear proper golf attire
while competing in tour events (this includes practice rounds).
No Tank Tops, T-Shirts, Denim pants, Denim Shorts, or Cut-off Shorts
will be allowed. All hats and visors must be worn with brim forward.
Shirts must be presentable, collared, and tucked in at all times.
Women must wear shirts with sleeves if not collared. All Shorts
must be presentable and be of proper length. (No more than 5 inches
above the knees). The use of headphones, pagers, radios, and cell
phones are prohibited during play.
On and Off Course - Behavior
Any disrespectful behavior including cheating, throwing or breaking
clubs, abusive language, unsportsmanlike conduct, slow play, vandalism,
leaving the course without proper Allstar Junior Golf Tour approval
during a tournament round, and not abiding by the rules of golf
will be considered a violation of the Code of Conduct. A two-stroke
penalty shall be assessed for each violation on or off the golf
course in addition to any penalty pertaining to the rules of golf.
Second violations will result in disqualification from the tournament
and will be reviewed by the tournament staff of the Allstar Junior
Golf Tour. The Allstar Junior Golf Tour reserves the rights to suspend
or revoke a player’s membership for major infractions in the
Code of Conduct.
Safety
Safety of the Allstar Junior Golf Tour member is of utmost importance,
a medical kit, walkie talkies, and air horns are on the golf course
at all times. The air horn will be use to discontinue play in the
event of lighting in the immediate area. In the event that an air
horn warning is used Allstar Junior Golf Tour members are required
to seek immediate shelter. If an Allstar Junior Golf Tour member
has pertinent medical information that is vital to the well being
of him or her, it is required that the parent/parents notify the
Allstar Junior Golf Tour with a written letter of Medical History.
The Allstar Junior Golf Tour is not liable for any
accidents or injuries suffered while playing in an Allstar Junior
Golf Tour sponsored events. By becoming an Allstar Junior Golf Tour
member and accepting the Code of Conduct you release the Allstar
Junior Golf Tour and its volunteers from any damages suffered by
you or your child while participating in, or traveling to or from
any program sponsored by the Allstar Junior Golf Tour. You also
authorize and release the Allstar Junior Golf Tour or any other
publication submitted for print in which the Allstar Junior Golf
Tour may participate. You have read and understand, and agree to
abide by the polices set forth by the Allstar Junior Golf Tour.
You also understand that all applicants will be screened prior to
final acceptance into membership.
